The claim is dismissed under Employment Tribunal Rule 47 following the claimant’s non-attendance at the preliminary hearing on 5 December 2024.REASONS
[1]The claimant did not attend the Preliminary Hearing for Case Management on 5 December 2024.[2]The claimant was contacted by the tribunal and stated that he did not intend to attend the hearing. He was told by the clerk that the case may be struck out and he indicated that he understood that.[3]The tribunal waited until 12 noon to give the claimant the opportunity to join the hearing. He did not do so.[4]The claimant has not responded to correspondence from the Tribunal or made contact with the tribunal or the respondent’s representative for a number of months. Signed by:
