JUDGMENT
[1]The claim was presented in the Midlands West Employment Tribunal on 28 July 2024. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £1,795.65, in respect of failure to pay the claimant the applicable national minimum wage for the period of 6 November 2023 to 31 March 2024.[3]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £668.50, in respect of failure to pay the claimant the applicable national minimum wage for the period of 1 April 2024 to 2 May 2024.[4]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £ £280.85 for the period upto 31 March 2024 and £107.07 for the period of 1 April 2024 to 2 May 2024.[5]The respondent must pay the claimant £2,852.07 in total.
