Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the West Midlands Employment Tribunals on 18 September 2023. The respondent has failed to present a valid response in time, but the claims are not contested. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages in July 2023 and failed to provide a pay statement. The respondent must pay the claimant £3166.67 gross.[3]The respondent has failed to give to the claimant any itemised pay statements for June 2023 in accordance with section 8 of the Employment Rights Act 1996. The respondent is to pay the claimant £783.71 by way of unnotified deductions.[4]The respondent must pay the claimant £3950.38 in total.[5]The hearing listed on 6 February 2024 is cancelled.
