Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 In default of the Respondent presenting a response within the relevant time limit and having regard to Rule 21, Schedule 1 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013, the Judgment of the Tribunal is that:[1]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant the gross sum of £1285 (£460 + £825).[2]The hearing listed on 5 April 2023 is cancelled.[3]The sum payable above is the gross amount to be paid and the claimant is responsible for any income tax and National Insurance contributions thereon.
