JUDGMENT

The judgment of the Tribunal is that: The claimant’s claim is dismissed on his non-attendance.

REASONS

[1]The claimant has not attended this hearing.[2]Mindful of rule 47 of the Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure 2013, we have considered whether we should dismiss the claim or proceed in the absence of the claimant. We have also considered if we should adjourn the Hearing.[3]The claimant has failed to comply with a request for comments from the Tribunal and Tribunal orders. Having consulted Companies House, we found that the respondent company was dissolved in June 2023.[4]The Tribunal called the claimant twice this morning after the hearing was due to start and received no reply. On the second attempt, it left a voicemail to which the claimant did not respond. 1 of 2 Case Number: 1305157/2023[5]Particularly considering that the respondent has been dissolved, we consider it to be in line with the overriding objective, in terms of dealing with issues in ways which are proportionate, avoiding delay and saving expense, to dismiss the claim.
