JUDGMENT
Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 In default of the Respondent presenting a Response within the relevant time limit and having regard to Rule 21, Schedule 1 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013, the Judgment of the Tribunal is that:[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £351.00.[2]The tribunal makes a declaration only that the Respondent has failed to give the Claimant any itemised pay statements in accordance with section 8 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.[3]The hearing listed on 2nd February 2024 is cancelled. The sum payable above is the gross amount to be paid and the respondent is responsible for deductions of any income tax and National Insurance contributions thereon.
