[1]The respondent’s name is change to that shown above.[2]The respondent made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages. The claim under s.13 and s. 23 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 in that regard is well founded and succeeds.[3]The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant a total sum of £716.25 which comprises £596.25 which represents the sum deducted from his wages (the said sum having been calculated gross without deduction for tax or national insurance) and £120.00 consequential loss.
