JUDGMENT
[1]The claim for unlawful deduction from wages is well-founded, and the respondent is ordered to pay the claimant £965.30 (gross) in compensation[2]Furthermore, it is appropriate to compensate the claimant for financial loss sustained which is attributable to the unlawful deduction, and I order the respondent to pay the claimant the additional sum of £50.00. Note: Reasons for the judgement having been given orally at the hearing, written reasons will also be provided as soon as conveniently possible as a request was made by the respondent at the hearing.
