[1]The respondents failed to attend or be represented at the Hearing. The tribunal considered the information in its possession and proceeded with the Hearing in the absence of the respondents.[2]The claim 1301899/2017 against the second respondent fails and is dismissed.[3]The first respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages. 4The first respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £ 675 (2 weeks’ pay at the weekly rate of £600 - £525).[5]Under section 24(2) Employment Rights Act 1996 the first respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £ 38.76 (Bank Charges) to compensate him for the financial loss sustained by him attributable to the matter complained of.
