JUDGMENT
Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £756.12 ( 6 days x £126.02 per day).[2]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £486.55 ( 2 .75 days x £126.02 per day).[3]The claimant was employed by the respondent and was among some 90 employees at its head office who were dismissed as redundant on 10 July 2017.[4]The complaint that the respondent failed to comply with the requirements of section 188 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation ) Act 1992 is well founded.[5]I make a protective award in respect of the claimant and order the respondent to pay to the claimant remuneration for the protected period of 90 days beginning on 10 July 2017.
