The respondent had failed to file a response and had failed to respond to tribunal correspondence or evidence any alleged reasons for such failure. Accordingly, the claimant’s claims for unpaid wages and expenses, unpaid holiday pay and breach of contract (notice pay) succeed. The claimant is required to quantify his claims within 14 days. DEFAULT JUDGMENT (REMEDY) Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 Judgment in default having been entered on 25 September 2017, and the claimant having quantified his claim in writing by email of 3 October 2017, I adjudge that the respondent shall be liable to pay to the claimant the total amount of £6,692.51, gross; comprising,(a) Two months’ salary of £5,833.33(b) Outstanding holiday pay accrued of £719.18 (7.5 days)(c) expenses in employment, contractually incurred, in the sum of £140.00.
