JUDGMENT
[1]In this Judgment “the claimants” means those listed above.[2]The claimants were employed by the respondent and were among more than 20 employees who were dismissed as redundant on 12 March 2021 and whose place of work was Mendip Works Leigh Rd, Chantry, Frome, BA11 3LR. The respondent went into creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 22 March 2021.[3]We declare that the complaint that the respondent failed to comply with the requirements of section 188 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 is well founded.[4]We make a protective award in respect of all the claimants and order the respondent to pay to each of the claimants remuneration for the protected period of 90 days beginning on 12 March 2021.
