JUDGMENT
[1]The respondent has made an unlawful deduction from the claimant’s wages.[2]Part payment of the unlawful deduction having now been made the respondent is further ordered to pay to the claimant unpaid wages in the sum of £268.65 gross (agreement to work 40 hours per week = 120 hours over 3 weeks. Paid for 90.15 hours. Outstanding: 29.85 hours at rate of £9.00 per hour).[3]The claimant has suffered loss attributable to the non-payment of wages by way of lost interest. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £12.36 in respect of the financial loss sustained by her.[4]No order is made that the respondent pay the claimant’s costs attributable to the tribunal claim/ Acas early conciliation process as these are costs attributable to these processes not attributable to the unlawful deduction.
