JUDGMENT
[1]The Claim was presented on 11 February 2025. The Respondent has failed to present a valid Response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the Claim in accordance with rule 22 of The Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024.[2]The Claimant’s complaint that the Respondent has made unauthorised deductions from his wages is well-founded. The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the sum of £1,128.00 gross in respect of the period 16 December to 29 December 2023.[3]The Claimant’s complaint that the Respondent has failed to pay the Claimant for accrued but untaken holiday entitlement on termination of his employment is also well-founded. The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the further sum of £768.00 gross.[4]The total amount the Respondent is ordered to pay to the Claimant is therefore £1896.00 less such deductions for tax and national insurance as the Respondent is required to make by law.
