JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment.[2]The respondent breached the claimant’s contract of employment by failing to pay the claimant notice pay. The claimant’s claim for damages for breach of contract succeeds.[3]The respondent made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages.[4]The respondent did not give the claimant a written statement of particulars of employment.[5]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant £5,540.48. The said sum comprises the following:5.1 a redundancy payment of £2,688.005.2 a net sum of £1732.48 for failure to pay the claimant notice pay;5.3 a gross sum of £224.00 for failure to pay the claimant outstanding wages5.4 £896.00 which is 4 weeks gross wages for failure to provide the claimant with a statement of her employment particulars 1 of 2 Case Number:1300368/2019[6]The Recoupment Regulations do not apply.
