Mr J Northall v Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council: 1300192/2024

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 1300192/2024
Mr J NorthallClaimantWalsall Metropolitan Borough CouncilRespondent
Employment Judge HenaDate 14 October 2024

JUDGMENT

The claim is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By an Order made by Employment Judge Hena on 7th June 2024 and issued on 11th June 2024, the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because: it has not been actively pursued in that the claimant failed to attend the preliminary hearing listed on 7th June 2024, and did not provide any reason for his non-attendance.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.[3]The hearing fixed for 21st October 2024 will not take place.
